Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova

Strategic Communications

The EEAS houses two communications divisions that work hand in hand to communicate what the organisation stands for.

The Communication Policy and Public Diplomacy division promotes the activities of the EU High Representative and communicates about EU foreign affairs, security and defence policy, as well as EU external action, engaging effectively with our audiences. It cooperates with EU Delegations and Missions and Operations around the world in their activities to communicate the EU.

The Strategic Communications division and its Task Forces contribute to effective and fact-based communication, countering disinformation, narrative-positioning and the strengthening of the overall media environment and civil society in their corresponding regions.

The European Union's European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) was launched in 2004 to support and foster stability, security and prosperity in the EU`s neighbourhood. The Review of the ENP in 2015 brought a change to the cooperation framework and proposed ways to build more effective partnerships in the Neighbourhood.
