The EU has today published a report assessing the implementation of its existing trade agreements. This horizontal report is the first of its kind and sheds light on what happens after trade agreements are negotiated and have entered into force.
European Experts of the Technical Assistance Exchange Instrument (TAIEX) participate together with governmental authorities of Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama in a workshop aimed at improving the level of competence and knowledge of customs agents in the identification of copied or falsified goods via a risk analysis and training in the targeting of goods.

The Cooperation Programme between Latin American, the Caribbean and the European Union on Drugs Policies (COPOLAD), is holding the COPOLAD Peer to Peer Workshop on Alternative Development and Value Chains in Mexico City from 24th to 25th October 2017. Through a south-south cooperation model among the Andean countries, with wide experience in Alternative Development, and with new interested countries in this field, the purpose will be to promote the exchange of best practices and mutual learning regarding value chains for products coming from Alternative Development projects
