The Delegation ensures the representation of the European Union (EU) to the Republic of Mauritius and to the Republic of Seychelles, and the conduct of the relations with the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC).
Pendant 15 ans, l'Union européenne a soutenu les organisations non gouvernementales à Maurice et à Rodrigues à travers le Decentralised Cooperation Programme (DCP) dans plusieurs domaines tels que l'autonomisation des femmes et des personnes handicapées, la formation des jeunes, l'éducation, la santé, la lutte contre la discrimination et la violence et la protection de l'environnement.
