The chief negotiators of the European Union and Malaysia initialled today the text of the EU-Malaysia Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia in Putrajaya. The initialling marks the successful closure of negotiations that started in October 2010.

EU-Kelantan Days

14 representatives from 10 EU Member States missions and the EU Delegation to Malaysia visited the northern state of Kelantan.

3rd EU-Malaysia Higher Education Conference: Cooperation in Mobility of Academics and Students

European and Malaysian experts in higher education discussed the achievements of cooperation, challenges and future opportunities to collaborate in mobility exchanges and research partnerships at the 3rd EU-Malaysia Higher Education Conference themed ‘Cooperation in Mobility between Students and Academics’ on 14 March 2016 at University of Malaya.

European Higher Education Fair at KL Convention Centre

The European Higher Education Fair Malaysia 2016 was organised as an European Union Pavilion within the popular FACON Education Fair, held in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 12th and 13th March 2016.

Erasmus & European Alumni Networking Reception

Held in conjunction with the European Higher Education Fair, the networking reception at Scoop Menara Dion was the first-ever to bring together Erasmus Mundus alumni and other European university alumni.

The European flag symbolises both the European Union and, more broadly, the identity and unity of Europe.

It features a circle of 12 gold stars on a blue background. They stand for the ideals of unity, solidarity and harmony among the peoples of Europe.

Federica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, will travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 5-6 August as part of the EU's drive to step up its engagement with ASEAN. She will attend the ASEAN Regional Forum's (ARF) annual Ministerial Meeting, Co-Chair, together with Viet Nam, the EU-ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference and hold various other bilateral meetings.
