The South Africa-EU Dialogue Facility was launched in 2011 with a key focus of implementing priority aspects of the relationship between the EU and South Africa. It enables close peer-to-peer exchanges of expertise and experience by bringing together European and South African experts and interest groups to discuss specific issues. The sectors range from trade to investment and economic cooperation, science and technology, climate change, employment and energy.
Within the Dialogue Facility, funds are available for use on projects to facilitate policy dialogue towards the implementation of priority aspects of the Trade, Development and Cooperation Agreement (TDCA), the Strategic Partnership Joint Action Plan, SADC Economic Partnership Agreement and the SA-EU 2018 Summit Statement.
The 4th call for proposals seeks to provide direct support for policy dialogue and dialogue capacity building initiatives for up to € 75,000.
Deadline for the submission of full concept proposals is 10 December 2019.
Proposals may be submitted by South African Departments or non-governmental entities. For more information and detailed requirements, follow the link to the Dialogue Facility: www.dialoguefacility.org
