The Delegation of the European Union to the Kingdom of Lesotho is looking for a 2 to 3 bedroom house to rent in Maseru with a garage, gates and a security fence with razor wire. We prefer a freestanding house; however, apartments will also be considered.

The house has to be one of the following areas: Maseru West, Arrival Centre, Hills View or New Europa.

The following will be an advantage: active alarm system, grilled windows, water tank, concrete base for a generator or an already installed generator, air-conditioning and space for a guard shelter. If these items cannot be provided, we would require the property owner to allow the EU Delegation to install these. We are conscious that in the case of an apartment, not all those requests might be met.

Other criteria are the following:

1. We must be informed of the condition of the accommodation (possible works to be done).
2. The rental price must be provided. The possibility of a negotiation margin should also be mentioned.
3. You should inform us if the landlord will accept an EU rental contract template with a diplomatic clause.
4. The availability of the accommodation must be mentioned.
