EU Projects with Lesotho
The project will provide targeted humanitarian assistance to food insecure households in five of Lesotho’s districts to alleviate the negative effects of years of consecutive droughts and the COVID-19 pandemic.
The purpose is to expand humanitarian support provided by the United Nations' World Food Programme (WFP) in Lesotho's southern districts.
The objective of this project is to ensure that populations of the Lowlands regions in Lesotho have access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation in line with the country's “Vision 2020" strategy. The project operates in the main towns of Maputsoe, Hlotse, Mafeteng and Mohale’s Hoek.
A project by Lesotho's women’s rights organisations that aims to contribute towards the development of transformative gender policies and laws and to contribute to the economic empowerment of women, especially survivors of gender-based violence.
The goal of the ICM project is the sustainable management of land and water resources in Lesotho. It is aimed at combatting land degradation and the depletion of water catchments in the country.
