European Film Festival ends in Bishkek

The annual European Film Festival took place held in Bishkek on 28 to 31 October 2019 in order to strengthen cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and European countries.

11 films have been shown in original languages with Russian subtitles in the capital's Ala-Too cinema. Hundreds of viewers were able to see films from Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Latvia, Estonia and Romania.

The event was organized by the Delegation of the European Union (EU) in cooperation with the Embassies of the EU member states.
