Through your participation in the Eastern Partnership Youth Conference “Youth for Environment”, you will discover methods, strategies and tools to cultivate environmental behaviour and knowledge, and advance environmental education and activism among your peers in the Eastern Partnership countries, the EU and Russia. In various formats and sessions, you will tackle the issues of eliminating (plastic) pollution and boosting clean energy, and contribute to discussions on alternative modes of transport.
Moreover, over the course of the three-day conference, you will expand your contacts and networks, contribute to formulating environmental recommendations for international stakeholders, and get a chance to develop your own projects in one of three main areas: pollution, energy, and sustainable mobility. Developed through a Hackathon-style format, these projects will contribute part of the solution to key environmental challenges. The best projects from the conference will receive up to 1000 euro grant to support their implementation.
If you are between 18 and 35, and come from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, the EU member states (inkl. UK) or Russia, have working knowledge of English, and are actively involved in local, national, or international environmental work, apply here to take part in the Eastern Partnership Youth Conference “Youth for Environment”. The deadline for application is August 23, 23:59 CET.
The Eastern Partnership Youth Conference “Youth for Environment” will gather 100+ young people from the EaP countries, EU member states and Russia.
