For the period 2014-2020, the EU is supporting ASEAN integration and the ASEAN Secretariat with € 170 million.

The €2.3 million Improved Cookstoves Programme, implemented by SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, Oxfam and ARMI, and funded by European Union (EU) Switch Asia Programme, is commemorating the production and sales of the 100,000th improved cookstove in Lao PDR since the project began in 2013.

The European Union Delegation in Vientiane organised today a final workshop, which is part of a series of 12 trainings and coaching workshops supported by the European Union since early 2015.

The European Union Delegation in Vientiane organised on 17th May 2016 at Europe House a reception to mark the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHO) for the second year in Laos.

The European flag symbolises both the European Union and, more broadly, the identity and unity of Europe.

It features a circle of 12 gold stars on a blue background. They stand for the ideals of unity, solidarity and harmony among the peoples of Europe.
