Digital tools contribute to bridge educational gaps created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to Khang Panya Lao digital learning and teaching platform, Lao students, teachers and parents are able to continue learning at home and at school, as a supplementary resource in classes. It is a priority for the European Union to continue supporting the government of Lao PDR and education partners moving towards digital transformation to benefit children, students and teachers affected by the closure of learning institutions, and to prepare for a safe and successful return to school across Laos.
