Travel to the EU

With a Schengen visa, you may enter one of the EU country and travel freely throughout the Schengen zone. There are no internal borders controls which mean that internal air, road and train travel are handled as domestic trips.

Please note that the Delegation of the European Union does not issue visas or provide visa advice. Please contact the embassy of the country that you first wish to travel to for further information.

There are currently more than 200 EU Information Centres (EUi) worldwide.

The EUi is a European information relay set up in a university, research institute etc. The EUi undertakes to promote study and research, as well as to disseminate information on the EU. It offers a range of publications of the EU institutions so as to facilitate their access and use by academics and the general public. The EUi also organises public talks and lectures to promote discussions on the EU.

The EUi in Laos was established on 5th May 2010, following the signing of an EUi agreement between the EU Ambassador and Vice President of the National University of Laos.
