What we offer?

The Political, Press and Information Section is central to the holistic and mutually-beneficial EU-Vietnam diplomatic partnership, which has been established 28 years ago.
In addition to publicising, explaining and implementing EU policies, the PPI Section functions as the permanent interlocutor of Vietnamese authorities, civil society organizations and other stakeholders regarding domestic and foreign policy, including security issues and cover also press and public diplomacy.
In close coordination with the EU Member States, the EU aims at increasing cooperation with the host country, supporting Vietnam's transition into an open rules-based society based on good governance, the rule of law, and the respect for human rights, while simultaneously providing information on the policies and institutions of the EU. This collaboration has led to the creation of the EU-Vietnam Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation (PCA), which broadens the EU-VN cooperation scope in several areas including trade, development, tourism, cultural, energy and policy related issues.
