Akpé Motion performs in Nairobi

Akpé Motion brought together a French-Italian-Kenyan jazz fusion, offering a unique experience that was very much appreciated by the audience. The performance blended rhythms and melodies that transcend borders, evoking the European Union’s nature – which like a complex and vibrant symphony – has all its member states playing a unique role – unified by shared values and principles, and striving for a harmonious future.
On the trumpet and drums – Alain Brunet and Pascal Bouterin both from France, on the bass guitar- Eddie Grey of Kenya and on the piano, Nico Morelli from Italy.
While the language of Jazz is widely understood, the occasion marked the international celebration of the French language; one of the European Union’s official working languages.
