The European Union in Jordan, through EUNIC Jordan, supports the 11th edition of Amman Contemporary Dance Festival

Until 20 April, we strengthen the EU/Jordan cultural bridge and celebrate diversity, freedom of expression, freedom of movement, variety, dialogue, exchange, fusion and multi-culturalism.

The Council today adopted a set of conclusions concerning the implementation by the EU of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development, which was established in 2015 and comprises a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Given the horizontal nature of the 2030 Agenda, its implementation requires a cross-policy approach by the EU and its member states. Earlier this year, the Commission published a reflection paper "Towards an ever more sustainable Union by 2030," to which the conclusions are a response.

معان (8 نيسان 2019) – مندوبُا عن رئيس الوزراء الدكتور عمر الرزاز رعت وزيرة الدولة لشؤون الإعلام جمانة غنيمات يوم الاثنين حفل الإطلاق الرسمي لمشروع "تمكين الشباب" والذي ينفذه مكتب اليونسكو في عمّان وبتمويل من الاتحاد الأوروبي في جامعة الحسين بن طلال في محافظة معان.

ويهدف مشروع "تمكين الشباب" إلى تعزيز مفاهيم التربية الإعلامية والمعلوماتية بوصفها استجابةً شاملةً لضمان استخدام، واستهلاك وإنتاج المواد الإعلامية والانترنت بين فئة الشباب في الأردن بصورة واعية.

Ma’an, 08 April 2019 - Under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Omar Razzaz, Prime Minister of Jordan, the European Union (EU) and UNESCO Amman office officially launched the “Youth Empowerment” project, at the King Hussein Bin Talal University in Ma’an governorate.

AMMAN, April 7 — Souq Dezain, a fashion and design exposition, opened its doors at the Ras El Ain Hangar in downtown Amman for visitors for four days. It included 40 designers, with specialties ranging from home decor, oriental fashion, shoe wear, jewelry among other creative works.

The expo "Souq DeZain" comes as part of wider European Union efforts to support entrepreneurship and private sector development in Jordan, through the EU "Jordanian Action for the Development of Enterprises”(JADE) project.
