Launching of Takatof podcast

14.04.2021

The European Union has launched #Takatof Podcast, a digital platform to reflect on 10 years of the Syrian crisis and its impact and response in Jordan.

Through 7 episodes, we will hear the voices of refugees, local communities, the European Union and partner organizations responding to the crisis.

Takatof will include first-hand testimonials on health, higher and primary education, environment and women economic empowerment.

In #Takatof’s first episode, the EU Ambassador to Jordan Maria Hadjitheodosiou, UNHCR’s Dominik Bartsch and UNICEF’s Tanya Chapuisat discuss the EU’s and its partners’ response to the Syrian crisis and its impact on host communities in Jordan, after the arrival of Syrian refugees in the country.

“The EU recognises & deeply appreciates Jordan's unwavering solidarity with the millions of Syrians who have fled and found a home in Jordan since the beginning of the Syrian crisis. This solidarity shown by the Government and the Jordanian people is commendable” - Maria Hadjitheodosiou, EU Ambassador to Jordan.

Takatof is available in Arabic on https://soundcloud.com/takatofpodcast/ep01 and Anghami, Breaker, Castbox, Deezer, RSS.com Podcasting, Spotify and Stitcher.

The European Union stands shoulder to shoulder with the people affected by the Syria crisis.
