Awareness raising and networking events on the  EU-India Joint Call on Smart and Integrated Local Energy Systems are scheduled in New Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore between 31 October and 19 November. These events are co-organised by the Delegation of the European Union to India (EU DEL) and the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

The aim of these events is to promote the EU/ India call on Smart and Integrated Local Energy Systems, jointly funded by the European Commission (EC) through 'Horizon 2020' and the DST, Government of India, ( in total EUR 18 million will be available for joint project proposals).

These events target potential applicants to build consortia and develop  project proposals for the demonstration of Smart and Integrated Local Energy Systems. These events will offer particapants a good opportunity to present their innovative project ideas and competence to interested stakeholders from Europe and India.

Participation is free of cost but for logistical reasons registration is mandatory. Travel and accomodation costs must be borne by participants themselves.
