Preventing violent extremist through promoting tolerance and respect for diversity in Maldives

Supporting the prevention of violent extremism in the Maldives.

This project, implemented by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), aims to:

  • Support the Maldives government and other key stakeholders in understanding and preventing violent extremism;
  • build community resilience; and
  • promote peace and tolerance.

This project is  funded by the European Union and is worth EUR 1,000,000.
