The annual "Hamsa" reception for the latest Horizon 2020 grantees was held at the Tel Aviv Port on 22 March. EU Commissioner for Research and Innovation Carlos Moedas sent greetings and congratulations to the over 300 participants.

The Commissioner said that "each new grantee brings an opportunity to strengthen the EU-Israel scientific partnership".

Head of the EU Delegation Emanuele Giaufret said that he hoped that "Israel will be as successful in Horizon 2020 as it has been in the previous Framework Programmes".  

A short film entitled Israel Celebrates Over 20 Years of Collaborative Cooperation included testimonies from Israeli participants in Horizon 2020.
