The Council today adopted a set of conclusions concerning the implementation by the EU of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development, which was established in 2015 and comprises a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Given the horizontal nature of the 2030 Agenda, its implementation requires a cross-policy approach by the EU and its member states. Earlier this year, the Commission published a reflection paper "Towards an ever more sustainable Union by 2030," to which the conclusions are a response.

The EU is negotiating a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with Indonesia with the objective to facilitate and create new market access, increase trade between the EU and Indonesia as well as to expand direct investment.

The EU Film Festival is a joint initiative of the European diplomatic and cultural representations in Indonesia. It was held for the first time in Indonesia in 1990, followed by the second in 1999. As of 2003, the EU Film Festival in Indonesia has been held annually under the banner “Europe on Screen”. This year's Europe on Screen 2019 is the 19th EU Film Festival.

Europe on Screen – one of the longest-running international film festivals in South East Asia – is coming back this year. Entering its 19th edition, this year’s festival will be held on 18-30 April 2019 in eight cities across Indonesia.
