European Parliament's International Trade Committee visits Indonesia

Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) visited Jakarta on 14-16 April 2025. The visiting delegation consist of seven MEPs from the International Trade Committee (INTA).

 

A delegation of seven Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from the International Trade Committee (INTA), led by Mr Bernd Lange, Chair of the Committee, visited Jakarta from 14 to 16 April 2025. The visit focused on EU-Indonesia bilateral trade and investment relations, including on the Indonesia-EU Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA).

During their visit, the INTA delegation engaged with key Indonesian stakeholders, including the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry, the Ministry of Trade, the Indonesian Parliament and the National Economic Advisory Council. The INTA delegation also held meetings with representatives from civil society and business.

The delegation comprised the following MEPs:
