EU CBRN CoE Project 62: Brunei holds workshop on preventing and mitigating chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear risks
The Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, Charles-Michel Geurts, officially opened a "Workshop on the Update and Implementation of the National Action Plan of Brunei Darussalam to Prevent and Mitigate Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Risks” on 9 October 2018 in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. The three-day workshop is being held from 9 to 11 October 2018.
This is the 5th EU-supported workshop of this kind under the EU CBRN Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence Initiative since Brunei Darussalam started its work on the development of a National CBRN Action Plan in February 2014. The workshop brings together the National CBRN Team of Brunei Darussalam and is a living example of good inter-agency cooperation.
