INDONESIA - List of EEAS calls for tenders for the current year
The European Union launched on 22 May 2017 the World Cities Indonesia, a project to promote the exchange of experience and best practice on regional and urban development policy. Two Indonesian cities – Makassar and Semarang – are being paired with two European cities – Seville (Spain) and Zagreb (Croatia).
The EU-Indonesia Blue Book 2017, an annual report on EU-Indonesia development cooperation, was launched on Tuesday (16/5). The report demonstrates the success stories of the substantial development aid that the EU and its Member States provide to Indonesia. The main theme of the EU-Indonesia Blue Book 2017 is gender equality.
As part of the "Europe Day" celebration, the EU Delegation to Indonesia will launch its annual EU-Indonesia Development Cooperation Report (Blue Book 2017), focusing on gender equality. A talk-show on women empowerment will be held following the launch.
The 17th EU Film Festival “Europe on Screen” (EOS) 2017 will take place from 5 to 14 May 2017 in Jakarta and five other cities across Indonesia. EOS 2017 will feature 74 films from 21 European countries.
“Europe Day” (9 May) is a celebration of peace and unity in Europe. Every year in May, the European Union (EU) institutions in Europe as well as its offices all over the world organise a variety of activities for all ages to mark the day and raise awareness about the EU.
