Whispers of a Dying Earth
At dawn’s soft light, where beauty once lay,
Now shadows creep, and colors decay.
Rivers once silver, now murky with pain,
Fish gasp for breath in a toxic chain.
Forests once whispered, now silent in grief,
Chainsaws echo, bringing life to brief.
The air once crisp, now heavy with smoke,
Each breath a gamble, a future revoked.
Ice melts to tears, oceans rage and rise,
Shorelines vanish beneath flooded skies.
Creatures retreat as extinction looms,
Habitats crumble, silence consumes.
Yet hope flickers still, with voices that fight,
Together we heal, to set things right.
Each seed we plant, each hand we extend,
Can spark the Earth’s pride and help it mend.
Listen closely, the whispers call true,
The Earth is our home, it’s crying for you.
