The Indo-European Conference on Standards & Emerging Technology serves as an effective platform for showcasing and presenting the most up to date developments on standards, policies and legislation around emerging technologies. The Conference is brought together by the European Standards Organisations (CEN, CENELEC, ETSI) along with European Commission (EC) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) in the framework of its Project SESEI (Seconded European Standardization Expert in India) and in association with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Once again, the topics identified for this 3rd dialogue was consistent and in-line with key ongoing technology trends and policy needs for India and Europe. In this 3rd Indo European Conference focus was around the three following topics: ICT (M2M/IoT and its role in Smart Cities, Cyber Security), Automotive (ITS and e-mobility), as well as Smart Energy (Smart Grid, Smart Meter, LVDC, Micro Grid and Cyber Security). The conference also included the release and presentation of three study reports while covering updates on the latest global and Indian developments around Standardization, Related Policies & Legislations, Gaps and Challenges, Way Forward etc.
