EU Climate Diplomacy Week 2017 in Indonesia
From 26 to 30 November, the European Union (EU) together with EU Member States including France, Germany, Italy, Sweden and the United Kingdom, celebrate Climate Diplomacy Week.
Following the recent UN Climate Conference in Bonn, Germany – or COP 22 – and looking ahead to COP23 in Poland next year, the EU's Climate Diplomacy Week in Indonesia promotes the fight against climate change.
The objective of the Climate Diplomacy Week is to highlight climate change objectives, while stressing the links with other Sustainable Development Objectives like green finance, renewable energy, sustainable land use, poverty eradication and clean transport.
The Climate Diplomacy Week will present a series of thematic events in Jakarta, including several conferences, but also celebrations, movie-screening and a bike ride.
