Ms Þórhildur Davíðsdóttir Söebech Joins the EU Delegation

Þórhildur Davíðsdóttir Söebech recently graduated with a Master’s degree in International Politics and Governance from the University of Roskilde (RUC), where she focused on international institutions as well as the role of social media and disinformation in politics.

Þórhildur has experience with international organizations, as a former intern at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), a volunteer for Save the Children, and Iceland’s youth delegate to the United Nations in the area of human rights. Other volunteer work, especially that related to the political engagement of youth, has characterized her career so far. Þórhildur also holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Iceland, alongside which she was a part of the board of Politica as its events manager and promotional manager.
