EU High Representative Kaja Kallas Meets with Iceland's Foreign Minister in Brussels

The EU High Representative and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, met with Iceland's Foreign Minister, Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, in Brussels on 10 April 2025. 

 

Kaja Kallas, the EU High Representive for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, welcomed Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, Iceland's Foreign Minister to the EEAS Headquarters in Brussels this morning, 10 April 2025.

During their meeting, the pair discussed the EU's and Iceland's close partnership, cooperation on security and defence, support for Ukraine, EU-NATO cooperation, as well as the evolving geostrategic landscape in the Arctic.
