The European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao and the Italian Chamber of Commerce are pleased to invite you to our beach cleaning event.

Join us on 23 September to help clean Hong Kong's shores. Diplomats from the EU Consulates General and friends of the environment will gather for one afternoon to collect waste and raise awareness about marine litter.

Every year, millions of tons of trash end up in the ocean. It is estimated that by 2050 there could be more plastic than fish in our oceans. Marine litter is not only about Hong Kong, it is a global challenge.

By committing to a more sustainable lifestyle and by reducing consumption, reusing and recycling plastic, we can restore the health of our ocean and keep its waters clean and productive for future generations.

Take this small step with us to start protecting the environment
