For the first time, the European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao will host a booth at the Hong Kong Book Fair. Join us for free publications such as children's books, information on travelling in the EU and activities such as book readings by the Consuls General of the European Union. The booth is open from 19 to 25 of July at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre

EU Book Fair 2017

The European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao is hosting a booth at the Hong Kong Book Fair 2017!

For the first time, the EU Office will have a booth with the support of the Consulates General of Hungary, Poland, Italy, Greece and the Czeck Republic among others. Other Member States such as France, Spain, Germany and Portugal will also have separate booths.

From 19 to 25 of July, join us at the EU booth [GH-L01] to discover our free publications, children's book, games and activities for all.

All the publications of the EU Office are free. We will showcase publications about the European Union, cook books with European recipes, books on studying in Europe, children's books and many more. Member States that are co-hosting with us will also have publications from their country such as travel books, maps, literature and even promotional games.


We will host several events and games at the booth and at the Grand Foyer, including book signings and 'meet the author' events:

Reading by the Consuls General: On Friday 21 July, the Consuls General of France, the Netherlands, Poland and Ireland, as well as representatives from Austria and Italy will do a book reading from 17:45 to 18:30. Grand Foyer

Book presentation: The Italian Consulate General will have a book presentation on Monday 24 July at 19:30. The book is called "City Trail to Hong Kong" by Violetta Polese and Blake Evans-Pritchard. Grand Foyer
