20 years of Service: Georges MUGENZI GANYANA and Celine PRUD’HOMME honoured at the EU Delegation to Ghana

The EU Delegation to Ghana honoured Georges MUGENZI GANYANA and Celine PRUD’HOMME with the 20 Years of Service Medal recognizing their outstanding commitment and two decades of dedicated service to the European Union.

Mr. MUNGENZI Started his career with the Commission in April 2004 when he was part of the I.T department of EuropeAid Co-operation Office (AIDCO), now International Partnerships. From there, he moved to the unit in charge of contracts for ACP countries in 2007, transitioning to the Finance and Contracts team in 2009 when he joined the Delegation to the African Union (AU) in Addis Ababa. In 2014, he was with Delegation Cote D’ivoire and joined the Ghana Delegation in September 2022 until now.

On the other hand, Ms. PRUD’HOMME started her career in Uganda then later moved to Indonesia before moving to Ghana as her current base. Celine has worked on trade and private sector development, wildlife conservation, ASEAN regional integration, and now rural development & agro ecology.

During a special presentation at EU Residence, Ambassador Irchad Razaaly presented the medal and thanked them for their longstanding service. He praised them for their dedication, adaptability, and the important contributions they have made to the day-to-day functioning of the EU.
