A number of community dialogues, which seeks to engage communities on issues of social protection, have begun in the Western North Regions of Ghana.

The purpose of the dialogues is to deepen and raise awareness on issues of human capital development as well as educate communities on preventable but rampant social issues such as human trafficking, child abuse, teenage pregnancy and domestic violence.

This is after successfully undertaking the first phase in the North East, Ashanti and Western Regions. The two-day dialogue began on Wednesday 11 August in the Juaboso, Danyame, Abobewura No. 2 and Surano A communities.
