The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, visited Georgia reaffirming the strong partnership between the EU and Georgia. During his visit he initiated EU-mediated political dialogue in Georgia. He has mandated Christian Danielsson to engage as personal envoy to continue this dialogue.
The EU continues its support to Georgia in fighting COVID-19; ventilators and personal protective equipment were delivered to hospitals and a new project to assist Georgia with the deployment of vaccines was announced with WHO.
