On 9 May, the EU and EUMS celebrated Europe Day in Georgia in line with the theme of Stronger Together, emphasising solidarity within Europe and between Europe and its partners.
In his 9th of May statement, the Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia, Carl Hartzell, underlined the strong friendship between the European Union and Georgia which stand by each other also in times in times of crisis (LINK).
This message was emphasized by a message from 24 Team Europe members (LINK).

Across Georgia, iconic landmarks in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi were lit in the blue and yellow colours of the European Union flag, to show solidarity and highlight the day of celebration (LINK, LINK).
