16.11.2020

Following a 3-month competition and voting process, the European Union-Ghana Employment and Social Protection (EU/GESP) music contest organisers are excited to announce that the duo, Kwame and Kpodo, have won the Song Contest Against Child Labour.

They received a laptop computer, carrier bag and an electronic keyboard.

Exciting days are ahead for Kwame and Kpodo, as they will now go into the recording studio to record the theme song for the campaign against child labour in Ghana, which will take place early 2021.

The announcements were made during a colourful event at the Zen Garden in Accra on 12 November 2020.

The event also featured Ghana’s Afro-pop singer-songwriter Wiyaala, who engaged the guest with some catchy performances, and who will also act in the capacity as goodwill ambassador for early next year’s EU/GESP campaign against child labour.
