“Democracy is precious. This region knows it well. And whenever you are called to express yourself and participate in the shaping of the future of your country, you should use it”, the High Representative / Vice-President Federica Mogherini said during her visit to Skopje speaking about the upcoming referendum on 30 September. The referendum should allow citizens to voice their opinion on the name agreement reached in June 2018 between Skopje and Athens. “Remember that when you go and vote at the referendum, you hold the keys to the future of your country. It is in your hands”, she said.
