Public administration reform is an essential part of the EU integration process and public administration is one of the three fundamentals set out in the EU's enlargement strategy, said  Ambassador Samuel Žbogar, Head of the Delegation of the European Union during today’s promotion of the project “Further strengthening of the organizational and institutional capacities for the EU integration process GoDigital – Public administration reform assistance and strengthening the capacities of the Ministry of Information Society and Administration” held in the EU Info Centre.

This project, he added, should prepare the candidate countries' public sector for effective and efficient implementation and enforcement of EU regulations and for the challenges of the EU membership.

The Minister of Information Society and Administration, Damjan Mančevski and the Project Director, Giuseppe Moschetti addressed the event as well, explaining further its importance.

The total budget of the project is € 1.5 and is being implemented by a consortium led by Archidata srl Italy. The project was launched on 8 November 2016 and will last 20 months.
