ESA announces a vacancy advertisement for the following position within the Project “Supporting employment of young people” INTERNSHIP OFFICER

“Supporting employment of young people” is a project funded by the European Union. The objective of the Project is improving employability of unemployed young people, by increasing their competences (knowledge, skills and attitude). The project supports the following active labor market measures (project components: Internship; Trainings for skills demanded on the labor market; training for entrepreneurship; training for job searching skills. The deadline for implementation of the project is 30.11.2017. The official language of the Project shall be English. The position below is intended for full time employment.

Key responsibilities:

The officer (one position) shall perform every day activities within the component, under leadership of the Project Manager; The officer shall prepare operational and monitoring plan for the component and shall be responsible for implementation of the operational and monitoring plan in accordance with the Terms of Reference; The officer shall prepare parts of operational guidelines for the Project, related to the component; The officer shall support the process of selection of employers and candidates, and shall define the final list of interns; He/she shall assist the Project Manager and the procurement officer in the preparation of the public procurement plan, conduct regular inspections/monitoring of the quality of activities undertaken within the component and especially through monitoring the implementation of the internship contracts; The officer shall prepare reports for the component and shall contribute to the preparation of quarterly, interim and final reports; He/she shall gather relevant data; Conduct update of project information/data in the project data base; He/she shall contribute to the preparation for public visibility of the materials, reports, guidelines and archiving, etc.; They shall provide support and cooperation with the project team, etc.

Key qualifications:  

University diploma; At least 2 years adequate working experience in the capacity of task/project manager, including implementation and/or project/program monitoring which shall be considered an advantage; Experience in working with international donors; Good communicational skills, speaking and writing in Macedonian and English language; Knowledge in computers; Driver’s license. Working hours shall be 8 hours per day, 40 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 16:30.

Fixed term employment agreement to 30.11.2017, in accordance with the Labor Law.

Net salary shall amount to MKD 28.000.00.
