The Delegation of European Union in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia is seeking proposals aimed to support and promote democracy and human rights, that also correspond with the key findings of the European Commission 2016 Country Report.

 

The specific objective of this call for proposals is to support civil society organisations in their actions promoting and defending of human rights (political, civil, economic, social and cultural), as well as in supporting actions that will further improve democratisation of the society.

 

Priorities of the EIDHR Call for Proposals: 

Priority 1:            Address divisive political culture, build trust and inclusive democratic society;

Priority 2:            Improve access to justice to most vulnerable people of society in line with the 2030 Agenda "leave no one behind" approach;

Priority 3:            Address issues as listed in the EU Strategic Framework and Action Plan on Human Rights and Democracy (2015-2019)  that are relevant for the country (LGBTI, anti-discrimination, economic and social rights);

Priority 4:            Prevent/counter violent extremism. 

Budget: The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is 1.1 million EUR

Deadline for submission of Concept Notes: 29/05/2017 at 12:00 (Brussels date and time).

Three (3) information sessions on this Call for Proposals will be organised country wide in the course of April-May 2017. The exact places and dates of the information sessions will be additionally announced on the Europeaid website and the website of the EU Delegation in Skopje.
