The deadline for submission of concept notes and full applications is 29 January 2020 at 18:00 h (Brussels time).


The African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States and the European Union has launched the ACP Innovation Fund Call for Proposals (Reference: EuropeAid/166663/IH/ACT/Multi), a substantial effort to boost and optimize science, technology and innovation capacities in ACP countries.


Grants will be awarded to projects by non-profitmaking organisations with proven experience in managing research and innovation support funds. The projects should advance solutions to challenges in the following areas:


1. Digital literacy, knowledge and use of emerging technologies;

2. The promotion of local and indigenous knowledge and its use in combination with formal knowledge systems and practices;

3. The development of effective links between research and innovation (R&I) skills development and labour market demand;

4. The development of synergies in the R&I ecosystem in particular with the private sector; facilitating conditions for technology transfer; promoting R&I uptake


The deadline for submission of concept notes and full applications is 29 January 2020 at 18:00 h (Brussels time).
