Each EU mission works in the framework of a comprehensive approach. The mission works in agreement and coordination with the EU Delegations in the same area and in the framework of EU regional policies.
9 May or “Europe Day”, marks each year the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration. Speaking in Paris in 1950, Robert Schuman, then Foreign Minister of France, proposed a new form of political arrangement for Europe, whose aim was to make war between Europe’s nations no longer possible. This year’s celebration marked the 68th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration.

The European Commission is inviting young people from around the world to play an active role in this year’s European Development Days (EDD 2018) by participating to the Young Leaders Programme. We are looking for 15 unique young people aged 21-26 who can represent the powerful impact that youth are having in the development field: youth are a driving force behind some of the most inspiring development projects.
The European Union Delegation to Ethiopia celebrated the International Human Rights Day on Wednesday 13 December 2017 at the Addis Ababa University (AAU). The event was organised in collaboration with the Office of External Relations, Partnerships and Communications, and the College Of Law and Governance Studies of the AAU.
EU Ambassador to Ethiopia, H.E. Ambassador Johan Borgstam, has presented his credentials on 14 November 2017 to the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Dr. Mulatu Teshome. Discussions focused on political dialogue, development cooperation as well as trade and investment opportunities were also made.
