To mark World NGO Day 2024, (27 February 2024), the EU in Eswatini, in partnership with Yebo Art Gallery in Ezulwini, raised funds to assist 10 local NGOs in their fight against the ever-growing scourge of gender-based violence (GBV) in Eswatini.
The European Union (EU) takes pride in supporting the youth of Eswatini, particularly in the creative industry. This is because in Europe and in Eswatini alike, performance arts and cultural industries play a crucial role in human development and social cohesion and inclusion.
Sustainable development cannot be achieved without gender equality and a meaningful enhancement in women’s economic and political participation. Empowered women are synonym of a more equal and wealthier society.
