Today, an estimated 152 million children are victims of child labour worldwide. These 152 million children are being denied their right to have access to education and to a safe living environment. On the occasion of the World Day against Child Labour on 12 June, the European Union, alongside its international partners, reiterates its strong commitment towards guaranteeing the fundamental human rights of every child, as defined in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development target to end child labour in all its forms by 2025.

La Delegación de la Unión Europea (UE) en El Salvador y la Alcaldía Municipal de San Salvador invitan a la ciudadanía a visitar la exposición “Europa Coopera 2019” abierta y gratuita en la Plaza Cívica Capitán General Gerardo Barrios, que muestra las 26 imágenes finalistas de la segunda edición del concurso homónimo, en el que participaron 152 profesionales y aficionados a la fotografía que capturaron el impacto de los programas y proyectos de cooperación de la UE y sus Estados miembros presentes en el país (Alemania, España, Francia, Italia, Luxemburgo y Reino Unido).

Europe is a continent of cultural diversity. Our societies, institutions and laws are the outcome of centuries of exchanges of ideas, values, traditions and memories.
