Impact evaluation of the trade chapters of the Euro-Mediterranean Association Agreements

The evaluation addresses the effectiveness and efficiency of the trade chapters of the Association Agreements, their relevance regarding current trade issues faced by the EU and the six partner countries, and their coherence with the overall Euro-Mediterranean and European Neighbourhood policy frameworks.

It encompasses the economic, environmental, human rights and social issues, and uses both qualitative and quantitative methods. It includes i.a. a Public Consultation open to all stakeholders in Europe and the six partner countries as well as the organization of workshops in each of the countries and Brussels.

The project is planned to finalize in the first quarter of 2020 with the publication of the final report.
