African students and alumni: the EU needs your feedback!
Ahead of the summit and to meet this political commitment, collecting the views of students, academics and alumni is a key step, especially if decision-makers expect their involvement from the start and a high level of commitment from their side. That's why the European Commission put together a questionnaire on:
- how young people and youth organisations (including alumni networks) could enhance the role of students in the governance of higher education institutions;
- how they could contribute to make learning programmes more relevant and strengthen innovation in higher education.

Background:
Agenda 2063 seeks to reinforce capacities of young people and youth organisations in Africa by calling for enhanced engagement with African partners on shared governance principles. Additionally, the Africa-EU Communication released in May this year highlights that increased investment in people is necessary to provide better quality of education, make a targeted and sizeable effort on vocational education and training, and more generally enhance the relevance of curricula through innovative and learner-centred approaches.
