Cooperation opportunities with UAE were particularly emphasized.

Satellite navigation has been known for decades, but thanks to Galileo and EGNOS, innovative features are being brought to the market, for downstream uses in transport and non-transport (e.g. energy, oil & gas, land management, mass market location based services) applications. These features - offered for free - include integrity, high accuracy (20cm), authentication of the signal, which open up opportunities for development and adoption of very innovative services, both standalone or combining Copernicus data. Guiding safely autonomous vehicles, drones or running precise farming in agriculture all become possible, and more traditional transport and logistics operations gain in efficiency and performance.
