On week 9 of the Sustainability Tour 2024, we journeyed to Guangxi and Beijing. Bloggers Sunfengren and Xiaoyu toured these places and brought us wonderful stories of two EU-China cooperation projects: “China-Slovenia Karst Geology Belt and Road Joint Lab” and “Pride on Our Plates: EU-China Cooperation on Food Waste Reduction”.

On week 8 of the Sustainability Tour 2024, we visited Guangdong and Sichuan. Vlogger Sunfengren explored another two EU-China cooperation activities: the Sustainable Workwear Outsourcing Project – an environmentally friendly practice from Finland in practice in Guangzhou – and the EU-China Smart Energy Cooperation Project, located in Chengdu.

In week 7 of the Sustainability Tour 2024, we visited Henan and Hunan. Vlogger Sunfengren shared two EU-China collaboration projects with us: the EU-China Sustainable Agriculture Project in Zhengzhou, Henan and the EU-China Circular Economy Demonstration Project in Shaoyang, Hunan.

During Week 6 of the Sustainability Tour, we traveled to Beijing and Jiangxi. Vloggers Xiaoyu and Shasha explored two more EU-China environmental cooperation activities: a cycling event in Beijing and the Yangtze River Economic Belt Rare Tree Species Protection and Development Project.

On week 5, Sustainability Tour 2024 took us to Zhejiang, where vlogger Shasha visited two EU-China cooperation projects: the EU-China Biodiversity Promotion Project in Xianju, and the Finnish Sustainable House Project in Yuhang.

In the fourth week of the Sustainability Tour we have been to Beijing. Vlogger Xiaoyu explored three EU-China cooperation projects: the Shougang Park sustainable building renovation project by European architects, the sustainable features of the new Belgian Embassy, and the World Cleanup Day event, organized by the Estonian Embassy in China.

During the third week of the Sustainability Tour 2024, we visited Beijing and Tianjin. Vlogger Xiaoyu took us to two projects: the Swedish Smart Automatic Waste Collection System in Tongzhou, Beijing, and the EU-China Research Project on Low-Carbon Pathways for the Chemical Industry.

In the second week, the " Sustainability Tour 2024" took us to Wuhan and Zhangye. Vlogger Baojong and Sun Fengren visited and shared two EU-China cooperation projects: the China-Europe Institute of Clean and Renewable Energy at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the "Rural Sustainable Energy Integrated Network Project" (RurEnergy Project) in Jing'an Township, Zhangye, Gansu Province .

In this first week, the Sustainability Tour 2024 was launched in Beijing. The opening event was hosted by Mr Mattias Lentz, Deputy Head of Delegation of the European Union to China, and attended by representatives of the EU Delegation, EU Member States and several EU-China cooperation projects, as well as media partners. After that, Vlogger Shasha took us to Hangzhou. She shared her visit to an academic project co-developed by the European Union and a Chinese entity: the EU-China Climate Experimental Course at China Jiliang University.
