Interpreters’ Gathering - "Interpreting China in the EU: capabilities, capacities and challenges"

The EU Delegation to China will host an Interpreters’ Gathering on Wednesday 24 June 2026 in Beijing, under the theme of “Interpreting China in the EU: capabilities, capacities and challenges”. This gathering will bring together interpreters, sinologists and professionals from different fields and backgrounds, who will explore the future of the interpreting profession with the rise of new technologies and will examine Europe’s current capability to understand China.

16:30 – 18:00 | Panel Discussion: Interpreting China in the EU: capabilities, capacities and challenges
