EU Heads of Mission and EPC Ambassadors Meet with Ukrainian Chargé d’Affaires
On 15 April, at the invitation of the EU Delegation to China, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Ukrainian Embassy in Beijing, Ms Zhanna Leshchynska, attended a joint meeting of EU Heads of Mission and Ambassadors of the European Political Community (EPC).
Ms Leshchynska gave a briefing on Ukraine – China relations and the current situation in Ukraine, including recent Russian ballistic missile attacks on the cities of Kryvyi Rih and Sumy, which resulted in significant civilian casualties, including many children.
Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is a blatant violation of the UN Charter and international law. The European Union strongly condemns Russia’s reckless attacks on populated areas across Ukraine that continue to cause civilians casualties. The Kremlin continues to show that it has no interest in peace and is determined to destroy Ukraine.
The European Union will continue to support Ukraine with whatever it takes, for as long as it takes.
