The EU Ambassador, Diana Acconcia, representatives from the EU Delegation and EU Members States, as well as representatives from Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), a Ghanaian model, Victoria Michaels, the students and teacher from MOH basic School and the media , participated in the launch event.
The dignitaries delivered various speaches to create awareness on the need to check climate change and to protect the environment throught sustainable actions for future generations They also planted trees at the school compound to mark the launch event.

An art exhibition and training workshop to teach interested students on how to use recycled products to design artifacts and an awareness workshop on regreening and tree planting with the participation of 40 students, was facilitated by ComCashew, IWMI and WeCare, green organisations.
One workshop station on "Designing for our Future", using electronic waste, for 20 students, facilitated by Mathilda Payne and Eric Opoku Boakye-Ansah was also undertaken during the launch in the school.
